Her work (including Unfolllowing You, a book of poetry published earlier this year) tackles love, lust, and vulnerability in the age of swiping. Komal gives us the rundown on how to follow your passion, even when that means blazing your own trail, and how to find the guts to quit your day job. An Indian-American, she also has a lot to say about finding self-acceptance in the face of family disapproval.
